In June of 2012 a once homeless and single mother of a 5 year old join Instagram with only a few hundred followers to share resources she had come across during their time of need - now known as The Source LA with over 145k followers.

Our CEO initially started The Source LA in 2012 on her own personal page and as it organically grew, launched the official The Source LA page.

Come 2021 after The Source LA grew to over 100k followers, The Source LA was made official with the Secretary of State in California as a for profit entity, while still offering free resources and opportunities for the community.

Rocsii, our CEO & Founder with The Source LA has received numerous awards and accolades from the City of Los Angeles as an advocate for change and catalyst for opportunities and is still growing till this day.

After many years of organic growth, observing problems and aiding in solving those issues, The Source LA team launches the inclusive platform to assist community members with a wide array of resources and opportunities on a grandeur scale.
